The Ettasky Wedding

August 16, 2026  ·  Chicago, Illinois

We're finally getting married! 🎉

We've got a whole weekend of fun events planned and we want you there for all of it.

It started with a first date on August 24th, 2021 — and 1,453 days later, here we are. From Tinder, to working in the parks, to moving across the country together, we've shared the highs, survived the lows, and somehow ended up more in love than ever. Now we're officially making it official, and we couldn't imagine celebrating without you.

The Full Weekend

First and foremost — we hope you'll join us for the wedding on Sunday! That's the reason we're all here and the moment we've been waiting for. Since many of you are traveling, we wanted to make the most of the trip and put together some fun optional events throughout the weekend. Come to as many (or as few) as you'd like — no pressure, just good times!

Welcome Hang @ Dave & Buster's 🎮
Consider this our unofficial welcome party! Come hang out with us and fellow guests, play some games, and kick off the weekend together. It's a laid-back, no-fuss evening — just good company and good vibes. Please note this is an independent outing, so everyone covers their own food, drinks, and games.

Explore the Area 🌆
The world is your oyster! If you're staying near the hotel block, the Rosemont area has plenty to offer — highlights include the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, an AMC theater, and EXP ↗, a super fun immersive VR experience right next to the hotel. Heading into the city? You're in luck — this weekend is the Chicago Air & Water Show ↗, one of the largest free air shows in the country!
Evening  ·  6:00 PM First Pitch
Chicago Dogs Baseball Game ⚾
Join us for a night at the ballpark with the Chicago Dogs ↗! It's Star Wars Night with fireworks after the game — a perfect Saturday night.

Where to Stay

Hotel & Lodging

Recommended
The Rose, Rosemont
This is our top recommendation — it's a fantastic hotel and the location that best serves everything happening over the weekend. We've reserved a room block at a discounted group rate for the nights of August 14–17, 2026. Spots are limited, so please book by July 15, 2026 to lock in your rate. Reference the block name Annalise Lasky & Nathanael Ettel's Wedding when booking.

Complimentary airport shuttle to and from the airport — a huge perk if you're flying in!

Complimentary daytime parking in the front lot; discounted overnight parking available for $20/vehicle/night

Other Lodging Options

We chose the Rosemont/O'Hare area intentionally — the majority of our weekend events are happening there, and the area has a ton to offer for everyone. That said, the wedding venue is downtown, so there are plenty of great options in the city as well if you'd prefer to be closer to that end of things!

Getting Around

Transportation

Hotel Perk 🚌
Complimentary Shuttle Service
The Rose offers a complimentary shuttle within a 3-mile radius of the hotel — and this is a big one. That range covers all of the Friday and Saturday evening events, plus CTA and Metra stops that connect you straight into the city. Whether you want to explore Chicago's museums, catch the Air & Water Show, or just wander, the shuttle makes it easy to get out and back without needing a car. It also runs to and from the airport, so if you're flying in, you're covered from the moment you land.

Friday and Saturday evening events are within walking distance of the hotel — or just hop on the shuttle

Use the hotel shuttle to reach CTA/Metra stops for easy access into the city all weekend

Getting to the wedding venue on Sunday is on your own — rideshare is recommended. We'll be sharing an Uber code soon!

The dress code is cocktail attire. Think dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants and a blazer — polished but not black tie. Need inspiration? Check out our Pinterest board ↗
We love your little ones, but our wedding is an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to let loose and enjoy the night!
Yes! The Walden has an attached 26-car lot available for guests. Please note that all vehicles must be removed at the end of the night — overnight parking is not permitted. There is also plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area if the lot fills up.
We're keeping our celebration intimate, so we've put a lot of thought into our guest list. Your invitation will specify whether a plus-one has been included for you — we appreciate your understanding!
Please RSVP by July 24, 2026. We'd love to have an accurate headcount as early as possible, so the sooner the better!
